Custom Scenarios
Custom scenarios can apply alternative property-growth, rental-growth and inflation assumptions for a selected initial period.
Intended behaviour
- Apply the custom assumption during the selected scenario period.
- After that period, return to the normal PropTrail baseline hierarchy for the applicable future year.
- Use the year-specific Admin assumption where configured; otherwise use the general Admin default.
Beta validation: Current Beta limitation: after the custom period, the implementation can fall directly back to general defaults rather than resuming the applicable year-specific assumption. This is a low-priority correction and should be considered when reading later-year scenario results.
