Assumptions & Defaults
PropTrail uses editable assumptions to model illustrative future outcomes. Defaults are starting inputs, not recommendations or forecasts.
Assumption hierarchy
For selected future-year assumptions, the normal projection can use a year-specific Admin value where configured and otherwise fall back to the general Admin default.
Applicable year-specific assumption → otherwise general Admin default
Property-specific information
User-entered property information can override a default where the product supports a property-specific value. For an already-owned property, current or partial-year information can also apply to the starting year.
